WHO WE ARE

Earth Charter Austria was founded as a non-profit association in February 2020 and is an Earth Charter International affiliate. We are a team of creative and very multicultural individuals that believe in the Earth Charter vision and want to make a difference. Based in Vienna, we aim to  advance the promotion, adoption and use of the Earth Charter across Austria and abroad as an inspiring reference document on the vision, values, and principles for building a more just, sustainable and peaceful world. We recognise and use the Earth Charter as a guiding document on values and principles for more sustainable ways of living. Together with our partners, we organise and coordinate projects aimed to shed light on social and environmental issues and offer solutions and incentives to deal with them head on.
